Equine Swimming Pool

The state-of-the-art equine pool augments a comprehensive conditioning program, while avoiding the physical concussions of on-the-ground training. It allows horses to maintain muscle tone and cardiovascular health without straining joints, tendons, or ligaments.

This kinder and gentler aspect of rehabilitation and cross training is particularly effective in post-surgical cases. Swimming allows the horse to exercise muscles and cardiovascular system as soon as 7-14 days following surgery. The length of swim time is gradually increased as the equine regains fitness.

The 16 foot-deep pool has an oversized filtering system which keeps the water blue and clear. Automated chlorination and pH systems keep the water bacteria-free, as confirmed by daily testing.
