Pogi got a splint on the outside of his left hind leg, and was able to use the Aqua Tred to help keep his fitness program on track, without adding stress to his healing splint. With my career and busy schedule, I knew I was not able to treat Bram with the level of care he needed at home. Pegasus Equine Rehabilitation took him in with open arms. I was very pleased with their level of knowledge, skill, and ability. In addition to the excellent care, they were wonderful to communicate with me on a regular basis. I felt that I could get in contact and get the information and advice needed at any time and that my horse was safe, 24-hours a day. They even fashioned a belly band to fit our "little" Friesian because there aren't any his size on the market. The property is immaculate and well managed and Bram has come home fully recovered. "We sent our 5 year old Hanoverian dressage gelding to Pegasus for rehab due to a 5% tear in the superficial digital flexor tendon on the left front.

We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Rehabilitation at Pegasus helped Widmer to gain strength and fitness while allowing him to gradually stress the tendon to return to full health. The swimming improved his cardiovascular fitness with no stress to the tendon while the underwater treadmill helped with light concussion to help get him ready for riding. He returned to full riding soundness within 3 months of rehab with no rodeo moves...

The rehabilitation staff was always communicative and friendly and kept us informed of progress every step of the way, especially Vanessa DeRoux. We can't recommend Pegasus enough!"
